Hi ,

The chennai trips sounds really great... Well here right now I 'm in a bit of a pain as i got my wisdom tooth pulled off.. so much for more of wisdom. Anyway me and my guitar are doing great and the classes are going on well.

Well i guess the next in line to get married should be krishna (anna) but i guess its going to take a lot of effort on our front :-) we should get on it ... I have started here at my end by pestering him a bit ;-)

Thanks for the birthday greetings

A big thank you to all of you who wished me on my birthday. I had an absolutely wonderful day, topped by a surprise party at the tolly (including friends waiting in the dark there!). Next day was great too - saw the whole chennai lot including manya who's a real doll, meenu and bumba and shashank too! after a fun-filled 3 days there, we went to bangalore. managed to dine at atleast four of the places shashank had short-listed there, visited his bachelor pad, had a hair-raising ride (pillion) on his bike - not casting any aspersions on his very commendable ride-ability (my hair keeps flying anyway)!!!

back to work and school for me and kanishk respectively - ravi is busy at work (currently in jamshedpur for a day). we saw ice age 2 (watchable once) and i hope to soon see crash that shashank is raving about.

chennai was such fun with five of the eight next gen kids together + one next gen in-law+ one extremely noisy lovely super-next-gen baby. hope someone gets married soon, and we can have one more family get-together!!!

Hey thanks for the dates well there were some people here who were talking about it and planning something last weekend thats how I had concluded, Anyway guess they were wrong too !! Well as you'll must have heard this year the rainfall in Los Angles has been far far higher than normal.. Well its still not letting up. As each day passes the rain becomes all the more strong... its become very gloomy here. Just waiting eagerly to see the sun for once ! Also here its supposed to be Spring and there isnt a flower in bloom yet!! Seriously there has been major climate changes this year.. unfortunately it seems to follow wherever I'm there first in Pune (maharastra) and now here !! Climate change has started showing up visibly all over.

Tamil New years falls on 14th April and i guess Bengali New Year falls on 15th April. So i was wondering why Karthik is wishin us so early!We are eagerly waiting for Mami n Kanishk's visit.Meenu Chithi has also planned a trip to Chennai n we are keeping it a secret from Amma. So really waiting to see her expression wen Chithi comes here!

Summer has arrived big time n its so........ hot here.

"iniya puthandu nal vazhthukkal" - that's wish you a happy new year in tamil. good to know kartick and krishna were together for the weekend. would be good to hear from the silent krishna once in a while atleast on the blog. kanishk and i are getting prepared for a quick visit to the south; ravi uncle met bumba in hyderabad; akshaya is relaxing after the board exams (tenth); ananya starts class 4 from today; no news from archie and preeti; piyu atleast has blogged, tho no news from that; and shashank when i last spoke to him this morning was thrilled at having collected a turtle skull, a couple of rib bones and i don't know what else!!! he's in orissa with the greenpeace people, ostensibly to protect the olive ridley turtles.

i'm loving my work and liking the flexibility - more than anything, am thrilled at the idea of doing some productive work.

Great Weekend

This was a great weekend for me in San diego with Anna.. Well for one thing I got a new guitar and returned the old one. The new one is a Fender and it's really good. Also we went to a great comedy club on Saturday (April Fool's Day) It was really great Its amazing that when you thought all jokes on Bush we thought were exhausted these people come along with a whole gig of new ones... it was Seriously Hillarious. Then there was some nice Mideterranean food. I also cooked Aloo and Puri's for anna to give a sample of my culinary skills which he had doubted for such a long time.
Also the greatest part of the weekend I got my new laptop (Finally!!) Now I have a lot more things to do than just watching just the TV.

Also Wish all of you a Happy New Year ( I dont know how to say it in Tamil) and Happy Poila Bioshak(sp)
